Conventional Hearing Aids

EMG offers a variety of hearing aid options, including behind-the-ear, in-the-ear and in-the-canal hearing aids. We utilize only the best hearing aid manufacturers and maintain the aids with their assistance. We also have the Songbird disposable hearing aid. We routinely fit hearing aids for newborns, children and adults.

Bone-Anchored Hearing Aids

EMG's physicians perform a safe, simple outpatient procedure for those individuals who are unable to wear conventional hearing aids because of prior surgery or anatomic variations. A titanium screw is surgically placed into the bone behind the ear, which allows for the attachment of a special hearing aid that conducts sound energy directly into the inner ear. The surgery can be performed under either a local or general anesthetic and is often covered by insurance.
